WELCOME TO RSG'S FIGURE SKATING SCHOOL - THE SKATING ACADEMY OF NEW JERSEY

Figure skating is a captivating sport that integrates showmanship, athletics and the artistry of ballet and modern dance. It can be developed at almost any age for recreational enjoyment or competitive fulfillment. A figure skating student develops coordination, balance, rhythm, endurance, confidence and self-expression. Mastering skills through lessons and practice generates an astute sense of responsibility and self-discipline.

Figure skaters are more advanced than a beginner ice skater. If your child is new to ice skating, but has hopes of becoming a figure skater, you should visit our Learn to Skate page for information about beginner skating lessons. Here at BSA’s Figure Skating School, The Skating Academy of New Jersey, a variety of training and practice opportunities are available for skaters of all ages and experience.
