RSG Hockey Academy: Immersive Hockey Training

The RSG Hockey Academy offers an immersive hockey training and academic environment designed for student-athletes who are serious about elevating their game. Under the expert leadership of Hockey Director John Morea, the program follows a rigorous daily structure inside the RSG Arenas at Bridgewater.

Each session is built around a high-intensity schedule consisting of 60–75 minutes of purposeful ice time, followed immediately by 60–75 minutes of off-ice strength and conditioning. This comprehensive approach ensures that players develop the technical skills and physical durability required for elite performance before transitioning to their academic studies in the afternoon.

This elite programming is rooted in deep competitive experience, as John Morea brings a wealth of professional insight to his role as Hockey Director. In 2006, he was drafted in the eighth round (92nd overall) by the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL Entry Draft, sparking a career that saw him play junior hockey across North America. His journey through the ranks included minor professional opportunities and a prestigious invitation to an NHL Development Camp. Coach Morea now leverages this background to mentor the next generation of athletes, helping them pursue excellence through the Yearly Academy running from September 2026 through May 2027.
